DAY TEN-PREPARING TO ENTER CANADA

Today we traveled only 87 miles to the Lewis & Clark RV Park in Shelby, Montana which is the last RV Park on the USA side of the border.  We couldn't check in until 1 p.m. so we stopped at an I-15 Rest Area where Bonnie and Nancy cooked and Ben and I cleaned bugs from the fronts of our coaches.  After we arrived at Lewis and Clark the ladies did laundry and we all did chores.

THE WHOOP-UP TRAIL
Bonnie and Nancy have prepared a huge meal for tonight trying to use up restricted food items which can not enter Canada.  The border crossing is only 35 miles away and we plan to leave the L&C at about 8 a.m.   You can never be sure how long Canadian Customs will take, so it's impossible to estimate how far we will travel tomorrow or where we'll stay tomorrow night.  The weather is good today, about 65 and overcast.  We're hoping for good weather tomorrow however, the forecast  is for 80% chance of showers with a high of 57; winds are also supposed to start again with gusts of up to 22 mph.

Our internet service is by "Wi-Fi Hot Spot" using my cell phone, and because I don't have the Canadian Data Package, so the only time we'll have internet service while traveling through Canada is if a campground has Wi-Fi.  We think it will take us at least seven days to reach Alaska and during that time I'll post to this blog when I can.  Once in Alaska our cell service will work once again (when there is cell service available).
